Cole Power Consulting ("CPC," "we") operates colepowerconsulting.com. This page explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.
What we collect
The only information we collect is what you actively submit through one of our forms:
- Sell intake form: contact details, equipment specifications, photos, and any notes you provide.
- Buy inquiry form: contact details and the equipment requirements you submit.
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), subject, and message.
We do not run third-party tracking analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral profiling on this site. The site uses a single cookie-free spam-protection challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile) and a server-side form handler (Netlify Forms). Both are described below.
How we use it
Form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry, whether that is appraising equipment, sourcing a unit, or answering a written question. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share contact details with logistics or decommissioning partners only when necessary to fulfill a transaction you've engaged us for, and only with your knowledge.
Where it's stored
- Form submissions: a copy is retained by Netlify Forms (our form handler) and a notification email is sent to a Cole Power Consulting mailbox.
- Spam protection: form submissions are screened by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates browser signals without using tracking cookies. See Cloudflare's Turnstile documentation.
- Hosting: the static site is served by our hosting provider. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) are retained for security and operational purposes.
Retention
Form submissions are retained as long as they remain operationally useful, generally up to 24 months. You can request deletion of any submission by emailing inquiries@colepowerconsulting.com and we'll confirm removal within 30 days.
Your rights
Regardless of where you're located, you can ask us to confirm what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we'll respond promptly. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we honor those requests on the same channel.
Children
This site is intended for business buyers and sellers of industrial power equipment. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this notice, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes. Material changes will be reflected on the home page until superseded.
